Sisters of Charity Hospital is Buffalo’s first hospital, with a tradition of superior care dating back to 1848. Sisters Hospital partnered with U&S Services in 2006 to provide customized and comprehensive energy-smart solutions that fit the hospital’s evolving energy goals without sacrificing patient care standards.

New construction and retrofit projects to modernize environmental and security controls dramatically improved operational efficiency and safety, with centralized monitoring and management control of every aspect of the building’s environmental and security operations. Digital video systems monitor the perimeter and sensitive areas, like intensive care units and infant nursery. Extended video viewing stations in critical areas allow staff to instantly see those seeking entrance.

Sisters is using hospital operations reports, in conjunction with industry-leading energy management analytics, to identify energy savings opportunities.
